This Page Is About You.
Every coaching session starts and ends with the most important person in the room. You!
How balanced is your life?
Irrespective of whether you’re an individual or an organisation of tens of thousands, the same principles apply.
Coaching is all about you, the client.
The moment you enter the very first coaching session, I find out all about you. What motivates you, what you want in life, what your goals are, what’s getting in the way of what you want and together we work out how to bring your goals to life.
- How you rate your career (out of 100)? 40%
- How do you rate your finances (out of 100)? 60%
- How do you rate your work / life balance (out of 100)? 20%
- How much do you want transformational change in your life? 100%
Albeit the graph above may be hypothetical, it still reflects very much the lives of many of the clients I work with.
Everyone’s graph however is wholly unique and different; and that’s the best part of being a coach. Every day is different as I work with individuals each with deeply personal and unique requirements.
People come to coaching sessions because they have experienced blockages in their life which prevent them from achieving the results they want. All coaching relationships start with the coach asking deep, probing questions to surface what it is that the client wants and why it’s so important to them. Once these are established, then the magic starts to happen.
Would you benefit from coaching?
Do you have limiting beliefs?
Are there parts to your life where you feel that you are locked into a certain pattern of behaviour that prevents you growing? Do you feel you’re underperforming or could do better? Do you feel other people seem to get better results and greater success in life? Coaching can help you overcome all of these.
Do you feel you have new strengths yet to be discovered?
In reality we all have strengths waiting to be untapped. No one human being can function at 100% because, simply put, we aren’t machines. Coaching helps you discover and surface your hidden talents and hidden potential.
What new future paths can you open up?
A major part of coaching is setting goals and tasks. Taking action is how we embed long-term behaviour change and how we fast-track results. Over time these actions become habit – and that’s where true change happens.
Do you want to get what you want?
Here’s a quick coaching trick. Close your eyes (seriously) and ask what your heart wants to share with you regarding your future? Listen to what it says. If it wants change, coaching can give you just that.
